Okay after reading that sh!te article i just had to see that ep just to see if it was remotely right.
And it's not.
Holly as usual was amazing. Though at some points she looked quite tired. Probably due to the many hours she put in and being pregnant and all. But how diverce can an actress be? She can cover it all. The tears about losing her sisters. But then going right into her fighters mode and trying to find a way to solve it. Looking out for her sisters as always. The way she reacted when she found out Billie had actually used her son to get the Hollow. That was so well done. That low tone of voice..the way she looked..it's fab. I really did enjoy her scenes with grams and patty. They're all 3 so much alike. Bickering, some sarcasm..and the clearmindedness when they're in a tough jam and keeping it together so they can do what must be done.
It did seem like a Piper episode. It was nice seeing lil piper with grams while adult piper was watching. That really moved me. Tis all in her eyes.
This episode had it all..it had sadness, it had laughter.
Victor was great (i keep forgetting his name).
And always brings alot of humor to the show.
Both Patty and Victor were great. The interaction tween those two was hilariouse. Telling her they were divorced.
Victor : oh come on Patty..it's alright..it was a long time ago.
That cracked me up..lol
But the scene that really got to me when they were all together. Talking of Prue. And i was like..wow..that's all over now. It was the cast's way of saying goodbye and that came through on screen. It showed they're a family and that they're really close. I loved how Leo grabbed piper and kissed her. It was so sweet with everyone clapping and cheering. They finally made it.
Then how they all wrote in the BOS..it all keeps me bawling. But it's also where i wish they had an extra hour. To look into that more. And it appears Piper and Leo finally had their lil girl. I would've liked to know who the lil girl on piper's lap was. And wow..paige and henry having twins! Phoebe having her kiddo's and still working as a columnist.
I do wonder about Darryl though.
What happened to him.
The voice overs..great idea.
The walk down memory lane..the new pictures on the wall. It;s all too sad! But loved geriatric P&L walking up the stairs one more time. Although i sort of hoped it would be Piper closing the door again. But i guess Brad's idea was to have the next Halliwell line close the manor doors one last time. To say..it's not the end..the charmedline will continue.
But along with the greatness came a lil annoyingness. Which was Billie's crying. Yes ppl..with that i have found the most annoying sound on charmed. Ofcourse it's not her fault for crying like that.
The article says time travel screws up everything.
Well if they had watched they would've noticed how that was covered. Wyatt and chris did return because their future changed. And that was fixed. Grams said she would erase their memories so they wouldn't know about the future.
Plus there's only so much they can do in 41 minutes. And for that amount of time they have wrapped it all up perfectly. Although i do wonder about why Wyatt didn't recognise his grams. Has he not seen the pictures?..aren't they being summoned anymore?
And i do agree the vanquish christy, the triad and dumain was done pretty easily. But hey..again..only 41 min. It should've gotten a 2 hour finale. But that's another subject.
Overall..it was a valentine. It's an amazing ending. They didn't give up their powers. But we do know they're all gonna grow to be old and happy.
