Yes people let's have a discussion with depth!!!

I have mixed feelings about Season 8. I think it has a great storyline and I love the Piper and Leo story so far. However it gets a bit negative when it comes to Billie and what's going to happen with Leo (trying to keep it spoiler free here lol). I hope that Billie gets fewer scenes in Charmed but however it's not likely. I get the feeling it's not so much about Piper, Phoebe and Paige anymore. It's like they got some sort of Power of Four now.

But yeh i'm feeling the same way.
I love how they're going back to basic.
The writers seem to do their best to make the sisters more close again.
But the whole billy and brian thing sure is a big cloud over this season imo.
Just think it's strange that after making a show about sisters who happen to be the strongest in the kind with great magic. And are from a strong line of female witches. And all that flew out of the window with the arrival of billie WHO FLIPPIN SCRIES ON A COMPUTER!

And as for Brian's exit.
I feel they're doing him wrong.
He's always been so enthusiastic about Charmed and enjoyed it.
He's been there since season one. And i feel they're letting him down.
It's unfair after being loyal to a show that they boot him off just so they can afort guest appearances. I've read that Alyssa and Holly weren't very happy about this either. And can you blame them? Besides, fans don't care much about guest stars which we've seen last season. It was great having Billy Zane, Julian and Charisma on board. But did they really boost the ratings? Don't get me wrong i loved all of em. But if i have to choose tween Brian and guest stars..then it's a very easy choice. Especially since the odds of this being the last season are very high. And Piper and Leo were just back together for crying out loud!

I mean. Piper and Leo just overcame everything!!! They finally got rid of the Whitelighter/Elder status ... So that they finally could be as normal as they could be. Leo had his life at Magic School so that he didn't have to feel completely as a 'Stay At Home Mr Mom' ... And now we get this!! He's being thrown out after 10 episodes! Of course you're right, I agree ... Brian or Guest stars? Brian!! I don't care whether they came with the biggest actors Hollywood has. Brian has been a part of the show since day one .. or well.. season one anyway. lol And he is such an asset to the show! Being their whitelighter.. But most of all being Piper's husband and the girls' brother-in-law. The boys' father of course.
They can always turn to Leo when they want to confide something that they're not ready yet to tell their sisters. (Think Phoebe - season 3.. She didn't really vanquish Cole.. Who did she tell first.. Right. Leo!)
I think Brad Kern and his crew who decided this are so ungrateful and evil. They don't even consider those kind of things. They don't even understand that kicking Brian out is gonna drop the ratings!!! Of course we watch the show because of the sisters, but Piper & Leo has always been such a huge storyline in it. We've grown to love them and I find that Leo is a huge support to the Charmed Ones theirselves (whoa.. talking about them as if they are real. lol but still)..

This just really goes beyond my comprehension.

well technically the ratings have gone up this season.
well not technically..it's a fact.
So i guess they're dead on with the whole going back to basics thing.
Maybe ppl wanna see this season because it is maybe the last.

But that doesn't take away the fact that he's making a few bad calls.
He has said he'll try to get Brian back for more episodes.
But so far it looks like they're only trying for the finale episode.

And i understand that there's these cutback issues.
But hey..try and cut down on that wardrobe.
And they've already let Dorian go. I miss him as well.
But his story line was pretty much played out last season.
So that doesn't bother me as much.

Just think it's sad that one day ur part of something..u give ur best effort..and the next day ur dropped like that. Atleast he's getting a more gracefull exit then Shannen did. But still. I really wonder if Brad knows how us fans feel about the situation.

I don't think Brad knows how us fans feel about it. Or are we the only fans who hate the fact that they're dropping Brian.

no we're not.
Should read on other boards..those say the same thing.
Only a few..who don't care..well only read one who said that
And not many are happy with Billie either..
Only a few who are okay with her.
Strangely there's not much said about Dorian.
Especially since he was there since day 1 as well.
Maybe it's because he was written out last season and Brian has been here the 1st half.
And we know how he feels about it.

I guess the 10th ep has already been shot.
T must've been a sad day on the set then

what can i say..i love discussions..although appearantly we're not doing much of that since we're agreeing bout the s8 thing. Which is good..someone who doesn't agree doesn't make sence..lol


I do hope that we're gonna get something sad if he HAS to leave though.
Something like Hell Hath No Fury. We haven't seen an outburst like that in years.
So i'd like it if Piper had a breakdown. Well wouldn't like it..but Holly plays those so awesome!

Yeah that would be awesome. I don't like Phoebe this season either. I don't want her to become central.. and it looks like she's going to be. Piper has always been very central in Charmed. I liked tthat. lol

I don't think Phoebe's been very central this season.
To me it seems like they don't know what to do with Phoebe..apart from the "to have or not to have" a child. We've actually had a few Piper centered eppies this season..WOOT..can't say that of phoebe which usually is the other way round. As a Piper kind of gall i am Nooooooot complaining ofcourse. But i thought Phoebe was going back to school, yet we've not seen much of that. The lost piccie show was about Paige which was great. Rose did a good job i have to say. But i think they put all their idea's into Billie. I think the main cast should come 1st and then her.

I mean try and get those demons out of magic school.

Nor have they explained about their powers since the nexus added to their powers.

I don't like Phoebe obsessing with kid thing.. It really annoys me.
Billie was way too often to be seen in the Lost Picture Show..

I agree. Rose did a great job!!! Good to see Sam back once more

And Piper blowing up the air particles so that the fireball could bounce back.. Well... I had hoped something like that would happen sooner or later, that way she's kinda got some sort of Telekinesis. Not really but well try to follow me. lol

I've wondered about Sam and to why he was never visiting Paige.

But they used to use spells in the beginning because their own powers weren't strong enough. That's why they used the power of three spells. Those suppose to be more powerfull then a blast. That's how they vanquished the upper level demons. If their powers were as strong as those spells..then why couldn't they blow up shax or other demons.

Piper's powers need to advance.
They haven't since s3.
And hopefully Paige will get the power to heal sometime this season because they're out of a whitelighter. Unless they'd use Wyatt to heal them. I miss seeing that lil dude. I'm wyatt deprived..lol. He's just so cute in Charmed and Kicking vanquishing those demons even if it was Piper in disguise (sp?).

Yeah, I totally agree, he's one of the most adorable kids I have ever seen.
